In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:
M G R Hotels Limited provides bed and breakfast accommodation at Embsay Mill, Embsay, Skipton, North Yorkshire. Our services include:
Unless specifically agreed in writing, we do not provide additional services such as evening meals, laundry services, or transportation.
3.1 Bookings can be made via email, telephone, or through our website contact form.

3.3 A booking is only confirmed once we have issued a written confirmation (by email or post) and any required deposit has been received.
3.4 You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking.
4.1 We accept payment by bank transfer, cheque, or cash. We also accept major credit and debit cards where facilities permit.
4.2 A deposit may be required to secure your booking, particularly during peak season or for longer stays. The deposit amount will be specified at the time of booking.
4.3 Unless otherwise agreed, the balance of payment is due on arrival or prior to departure.
4.4 All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (£GBP) and include VAT where applicable.
4.5 We reserve the right to request a security deposit or credit card pre-authorisation to cover potential damages or extras.
5.1 If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible.

5.4 In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your booking due to circumstances beyond our control, we will offer you a full refund or alternative dates, whichever you prefer. Our liability will be limited to the value of the booking; we will not be liable for any additional costs you may incur.
6.1 Check-in: From 3:00 PM. Early check-in may be available by prior arrangement and cannot be guaranteed.
6.2 Check-out: By 11:00 AM. Late check-out may be available by prior arrangement and may incur an additional charge.
6.3 Please inform us of your expected arrival time, particularly if you expect to arrive after 7:00 PM.
6.4 On arrival, you may be required to provide proof of identity and the payment card used to make the booking.
7.1 The maximum occupancy of each room must not be exceeded.
7.2 Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the premises. Evidence of smoking will result in a cleaning charge of minimum £150.
7.3 Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property or contents during their stay. We reserve the right to charge for repairs or replacement.
7.4 We reserve the right to terminate a stay without refund if a guest's behaviour is unacceptable, including but not limited to: excessive noise, abusive behaviour, or illegal activities.
7.5 We do not accept responsibility for loss or damage to guests' property unless caused by our negligence.
7.6 Guests are advised to secure their valuables and vehicles. Vehicles and their contents are left at the owner's risk.
7.7 Assistance dogs are welcome. Please inform us at the time of booking if you will be bringing an assistance dog. Other pets are not permitted unless by prior written agreement.
8.1 Children are welcome at M G R Hotels Limited when accompanied by a responsible adult.
8.2 Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising children at all times.
8.3 We can provide travel cots for infants; please request at the time of booking.
9.1 Our property is located in a historic mill building. While we endeavour to accommodate guests with accessibility needs, the nature of the building presents certain limitations.

11.2 Subject to clause 11.1, our total liability to you in connection with your booking and stay shall not exceed the total amount paid or payable for your booking.
11.3 We will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses arising from your booking or stay.
We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, flood, drought, earthquake or other natural disaster; epidemic or pandemic; terrorist attack, civil war, civil commotion or riots; war, threat of or preparation for war; nuclear, chemical or biological contamination; any law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction; collapse of buildings, fire, explosion or accident; and any labour or trade dispute, strikes, industrial action or lockouts.
13.1 All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of M G R Hotels Limited or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
13.2 You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from our website without our prior written permission.
14.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
14.2 Any dispute arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
15.1 We aim to provide excellent service to all our guests. If you have a complaint during your stay, please raise it with us immediately so that we have the opportunity to resolve it.
15.2 If you are not satisfied with our response, you may refer your complaint to the appropriate regulatory body or ombudsman service.
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will apply to bookings made after the date of posting.
